Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Dibrugarh
On arrival at Dibrugarh airport, our representative will arrange for your transfer to a pr-booked hotel. Freshen up and loosen yourselves a bit, before heading off to exploring some of the major tourist attractions of Dibrugarh, namely Radha Krishna Mandir, Aye Than Temple, Tilinga Mandir and Mahatma Gandhi Udyan. Later in the evening, we shall visit the Jokai Botanical Garden, under the administration of Forestry Department of Assam, which is popular for the exotic variety of flora and fauna. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Dibrugarh – Namdapha
Today morning, after breakfast, we start our journey to Namdapha by road. Check-in to our pre-booked hotel in Namdapha. The day can be spent relaxing in your hotel room. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner at the hotel, in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Namdapha National Park
Today morning we shall explore the tribal village of Chakma, which is situated on the outskirts of the Namdapha National Park. After that, we shall visit the Namdapha National Park, which is home to a wide variety of faunal species like the Snow Leopards, Wolves, Clouded Leopards, Asiatic Black Bears and many more. Enjoy the sights of the national park on a jeep safari through the terrain. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Namdapha - Dibru Saikhowa National Park
Today morning, after breakfast, we shall visit the Dibru Saikhowa National Park, where we shall check in to the pre-booked resort. You can enjoy an elephant safari through the park and spot various species of animals and birds. Because of its proximity to the Brahmaputra River, you can also behold views of the river from the park. Evening shall be spent at the resort enjoying a delicious dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Dibru - Roing
Today morning, after breakfast, we travel to the Sapakhowa Ferry Ghat, from where we shall board a ferry to cross the Brahmaputra River to reach Sadiya. Once there, we shall explore the main tourist hotspots of Sadiya like Parshuram Kunda, Na-Pukhuri, Rukmini Island, Lekhapani and Margherita. We shall then travel to Roing where we check in to our pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and proceed to the historical fort of Bhishmaknagar. Next we shall visit the Nehru Van Udyan and the historical ponds in Padum Pukhuri and Itapukhur. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Roing – Pasighat
After breakfast in the morning, we drive to the land of Siang and hanging bridges, Pasighat, where we check in to our pre-booked hotel. We shall then visit the major tourist destinations in Pasighat, namely, Daying Ering Sanctuary, Kekar Monying and Komsing. The rest of the day is free for pursuing leisure activities of your choice. Delicious dinner shall await you at the hotel in the evening. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 7: Pasighat – Along
After breakfast we start our road trip to Along. We stop midway at the tribal village of Adi Galo, where you can have a close insight into the traditional lifestyle of the people living here. We resume our travel to along, and upon reaching there we check in to our pre-booked hotel. Explore the major tourist attraction of Along like Patum Bridge, Malinithan, Akashiganga, Mechuka Valley and Mithun andJersey Cross-Breeding Farms. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Along – Daporijo
Today morning we shall drive to the town of Daporijo, which has beautiful lush green surroundings, and is known for the various ethnic groups inhabiting it. Close to the town are various caves that we shall visit after checking in to our pre-booked hotel. You can also take up trekking at some nearby trekking spots. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9: Daporijo – Ziro
Today morning after breakfast, we travel to Ziro by road, which houses the Apatani culture. Check in to our pre-booked hotel. Rest for a while and then proceed to watch some cultural events of Apatani locals. You can also taste a unique herbal salt called Tapyo salt, which is prepared by the Apatani people. Other major tourist hotspots that we shall explore are Tarin Fish Farm, Ziro Putu and Paddy cum Fish Culture. You can also enjoy the sights of diverse flora and fauna inhabiting the Talley Valley that we shall visit later in the day. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Itanagar
Today, early morning, we resume travelling by driving to Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. Check in to our pre-booked hotel at Itanagar. Later in the day, we shall take up sightseeing in Itanaga, where the major tourist hotspots are Ita Fort, Itanagar Wildlife Sanctuary, Ganga Lake and Buddha Temple. In the evening, we shall return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11: Itanagar
After breakfast, we shall travel to Bomdila, which offers great topography for trekking and other adventure sports like rafting and angling activities.
On reaching Bomdila, check in to our pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free for taking up leisure activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12: Itanagar – Rupa
Today morning after enjoying a delicious breakfast, we drive to the hill town of Rupa, which is situated on the banks of Tenga River. Check in to our pre-booked hotel in Rupa. We shall later drive to the Rupa border to enjoy some breathtaking views of the valley. We shall also pay a visit to the tribal village of Shertukpen. We shall then return to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 13: Tawang
After breakfast, we shall visit the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, Tawang, which is also home to the Monpa tribe. Check in to our pre-booked hotel, and relax in your room for a while. Later, we visit one of the oldest and largest Buddhist monasteries in India, the Tawang Monastery. Other tourist hotspots we shall be visiting in Tawang are Sela Pass, Tawang War Memorial, Gorichen Peak and Bap Teng Kang. We return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 14: Tawang
Today morning after breakfast, we leave for Singsor Ani Gompa, Gyangong Ani Gompa, Urgelling Gompa and Gorsam Chorten. Located on the top of a beautiful hillock, the Gyangong Ani Gompa is a nunnery. The rest of the day is free for you to take up activities of your choice. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 15: Tawang
Today morning after breakfast, we proceed to visit the village of Zemithang, a Mopa settlement with large stone houses. You can take a leisurely walk around the village and observe the lifestyle of the inhabitants. We return to our hotel in Tawang in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 16: Tawang – Dirang
After breakfast, we travel to Dirang, an alluring hill station that is home to the Tribal Mahayana Monapas. Check in to our pre-booked hotel in Dirang. You can enjoy the sights of the various hot water springs and apple orchards that Dirang is famous for. Take a bath in the hot water springs as the water is said to possess curative properties. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 17: Dirang
We begin the day by travelling to the Sangti Valley, which is a seasonal home to the black-necked crane that is native to China. We shall visit the main tourist hotspots of Dirang like Dirang Dzong, Palyul Changchub Dargyeling Monastery and Kalachakra Monastery. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 18: Dirang – Nameri
We start the day by driving to the Nameri National Park, which is the last home of the White Winged Wood Duck and many other rare species of fauna. Upon arrival, check in to our pre-booked resort in Nameri National Park. Enjoy the sights of the rich flora and fauna of the park while on an elephant safari. Evening is spent at the resort enjoying a sumptuous dinner. Stay overnight at the resort.
Day 19: Nameri – Guwahati
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati, and check in to our pre-booked hotel. We shall visit the major tourist attractions of Guwahati like Basistha Ashram, Assam State Museum, Bhubaneswari Temple, Guwahati Planetarium and Kamakhya Temple. Enjoy dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 20: Guwahati
After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park and check in to our pre-booked wildlife resort. Rest for a while and then explore the rich flora and fauna of Kaziranga Natioanl Park on a jeep safari. In the evening, enjoy tribal dance performance by the locals. Return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 21: Depart from Guwahati
Today, early morning, post breakfast, travel to Guwahati airport and board a flight for journey back to home.
