Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Delhi – Rishikesh
The tour starts with a drive from Delhi to rishikesh. Once reaching Rishikesh check-in at the hotel. Rest for a while in the hotel. Later start your journey for visiting the ashrams and temple of Rishikesh. Visit the Laxman Jhoola, Ram Jhoola, Triveni ghat etc. You can pay a visit to the Maharishi Mahash Yogi Ashram. In the evening attend the Ganga Aarti it is a beautiful ritual of worshipping the Ganga river. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 2: Rishikesh – Joshimath
After breakfast a drive to Joshimath, Joshimath is located at the height of 2,100 m. This is one of the popular hill station in Uttarakhand. In winter season, Lord Badridwell inJoshimath, brought from Badrinath to Joshimath.. Enjoy your lunch on the way to Joshimath. Check in the hotel once reaching Joshimath. Enjoy the leisure time in the evening at the nearby places. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Joshimath – Govindghat – Ghangria
Next day morning, a drive to Govindghat after breakfast. It is located at a distance of 13 km. You can start trekking towards Ghagria, you would enjoy the panoramic view of the locations on the way. The base camp is at Hemkund Sahib and Valley of flowers. Overnight stay at the camp.
Day 4: Ghangria – Hemkund–Ghangria
Early in the morning proceed toward Hemkund after breakfast. You can start your trekking to Hemkund. It would take at least 5 hours to reach Hemkund. HemkundSahib is located at an altitude of 4,329 mts above the sea level. It is also known as the GurudwaraShriHemkunt Sahib. This the holy pilgrimage of Sikhs. You can enjoy the nature here, luminous clear lakes, pleasant view of the Himalayas, great waterfalls and dense forest. Return to Ghangria in the evening. Overnight stay in the camp.
Day 5: Ghangria – Govindghat – Rudraprayag
Next day early in the morning, return trip to Govindghat. Upon arrival Govindghat a drive to Rudraprayag via Joshimath and Karnaprayag.Rudraprayag lies at the junction of two riverAlkananda and Mandakini. You can visit the two rivers upon reaching Rudraprayag.Rudraprayag is best described as the “Dwell of Gods” with magnificent Himalayas. Check-in the hotel, upon reaching Rudraprayag and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh
Next day in the morning back to Rishikesh.Upon reaching Rishikesh, check –in the hotel and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 7: Rishikesh – Chandigarh
After breakfast in the morning, a drive to Chandigarh.En route to visit GurudwaraPoanta Sahib. This Gurudwara was built in the memory of the tenth Guru Gobind Singh. This Gurudwara possesses very high religious and historic importance among Sikhs. Later resume your journey to Chandigarh. Upon arriving, check in the hotel and rest for the day. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 8: Chandigarh – Andadhpur Sahib
Pay a visit to Anandpur Sahib and GurudwaraParivarVichora in your trip. Anandpur Sahib is also known as Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib. This is one of the most important holy places of the Sikhs. This was founded by ninth Sikh Guru, Guru TeghBahadur in 1665.GurudwaraShriParivarVichora Sahib is located on the bank of the river Sarsa.Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 9: Anandpur Sahib - Manali
On the 9th day of your trip, head for Manali in early morning. You would enjoy the glorified beautiful landscapes, snow capped peaks, lush green valley, flowing rivers, fascinating mountain lakes. Upon arrival at Manali, check-in the hotel and rest of the day is leisure. Spend the day with beautiful nature. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 10 :Manali–Manikaran
Early in the morning proceed towards Manikaran. This is located at an altitude of 1760 m. Manikaranis 90 km from Manali. Tourists visit the hot springs and holy temples and Gurudwara. There are temple for Lord Vishnu, Rama and Krishna.Gurudwara of Manikaran is memorialize to the visit of Guru Nanak Dev to this place. For the wellbeing and welfare of the people of Mainkaran, Guru Nanak DevJi has visited this place in year around 1574. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 11: Manikaran – Kullu–Mandi
Early in the morning a drive to Mandi.En route to visit Kullu. The most lovely and beautiful Kulu valley is spread out on either side of river Beas. The main attraction of Kullu ,DeoTibb, this the most popular tourist place and for interested people in mountaineering activities. Visit the Great Himalayan National Park, you can the most popular animals like brown bears, black bear, ibex, musk deer and Himalayan tahr.Pay a visit to the BasheshwarMahadev temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, It is archaic back to the 9th century.Visit the Jagannath Devi temple is at an altitude of 1,800m above the sea level. It was built somewhere 1,500 years ago. In the temple you will find the idol of Lord Vishnu’s sister Bhuweneshawari. Visit the oldest temple in the valley, Raghunath temple. This temple was built in the 17th century by Rajah Jagat Singh. Later proceed towards Mandi. Upon reaching Mandi, check in the hotel and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 12: Mandi - Amritsar
Next day your journey starts towards Amritsar by roadways. Upon reaching Amritsar, check- in the hotel and rest for a while in the hotel. Later you can pay a visit to the Golden temple. The Golden temple is the famous pilgrimage place for Sikhs in India. The Golden temple is also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib.Overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 13: Amritsar
After breakfast in the morning a trip to Tarn Taran. It is just 22 km distance from Amritsar. This is one of the holy places for Sikhs. This was founded by Guru ArjanDevJi, the 5th Sikh Guru. Visit the Goindwal Sahib, the third Sikh Guru preached and lived. Also visit the Gurudwara Sri HazurSahib, this is situated on the banks of river Godavari. The 10th Sikh Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh ended his last breath at Sri Hazur Sahib.Pay the tribute to the Samadi of the second Guru Angad Devi Ji. This was built by the Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1815 AD.Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 14: Amritsar
In the morning after breakfast, visit JallianwalaBagh. JallianwalaBagh is the main tourist attractions of Amritsar. JallianwalaBagh is related to the heartbroken day in the history of the Indian Freedom Movement. The British General Dyer, ordered his soldiers to fire at the unarmed crowd. Visit Gurdwara Bab Bakala, is the important pilgrimage place for the Sikhs. This place is related to the Ninth Sikh Guru, ShriTeghBahadur. Most tourist attraction place is Wagah border ceremony. The BSF and Pakistan Rangers display the mutual hatred by the Flag lowering ceremony. This was started in 1959.Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 15: Amritsar – Delhi.
In the morning after breakfast, check out of the hotel. Transfer to the airport to board a flight to Delhi for your onwards journey.
