Tour Itinerary:
Day 1- Delhi– Chandigarh
In the morning after breakfast a drive to Delhi railway station to board a train to Chandigarh. Upon arrival at Chandigarh, check-in the hotel and relax for a while. Later proceed to the sightseeing in Chandigarh such as Rock Garden is the wonderful garden with various art objects built out of the industrial and home waste. Rose Garden is the Asia’s largest Rose Garden. You will find 1600 different species in this garden. International Dolls Museum contains nearly 300 varieties of dolls from all over the world. Government Museum and Art Gallery is the fine collection of stone sculptures. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 2 – Chandigarh –Manali
Drive to Manali after breakfast in the morning. The beauty of Manali is with its lush green forest of wood and mountains covered fully with snow. Upon arrival, check-in the hotel and relax for the day. You can explore to the sightseeing of Manali.The Beas Kund is the small holy lake where Rishi Vyhas took his bath. This place is barren plants and is the only way to reach through trekking. Naggar Castle is converted into a heritage hotel and is made of a wood structure and a stone built by Raja Sidh Singh over 500 years ago. Another place to visit is the UrswatiHimalyan Folk Museum. In the Nicholas Roerich Gallery you can see the paintings and photographs of the late Nicholas Roerich.Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 3 –Manali
Next day excursion to Solang Valley after breakfast in the morning. This is situated at a distance of 13 km from the Manali and at the top of Kullu valley. Solang Valley offers the view of icebergs and mountains covered with snow and peaks. You can participate in the adventure sports like Sking and Paraglliding. Even Zorbing, Snow Motor Bikes and horse riding. Enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 4 - Manali– Losar
After breakfast a drive to Losar. On the way visit to Rohtang Pass,further which lies the twin valley of Lahaul and Spiti. This place is for nature lover and adventure seekers.TheRohtang Pass is the beautiful and picnic spot for many tourists. You can see the beautiful view of mountains rising far above the clouds, which is truly an awesome sight. You can enjoy the adventure sports such as mountain biking, paragliding, skiing. Then, continue your journey towards Losar. On reaching Losar, complete the check-in formalities and relax for the day. You can get explore the road Losar passes through some beautiful patches of steep valley. Losar is a beautiful small town decorated with the carpet of flowers on the meadow and cattle farm.Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 5 – Losar –Kaza
In the morning after breakfast, proceed to Kaza. Kaza is located on the bank of river Spiti and it is 3600m above the sea level. This is the cold desert, but the monsoon rain never comes. This is the main attraction for tourist because during summer its central location and connections to rest of the valley and outside and even attract many adventures. One of the major attractions is Tangyud Monastery was built in the early years of the 14th century.The Key Gompa is one of the biggest monastery, founded in the 11th Century and is 4116 m above the sea level. Day 6 – Kaza–Tabo
Morning after breakfast, visit the Tabo monastery. The Tabo Monastery is also called as the Ajanta of Himalayas. This is located at the left bank of river Spiti. This is the one of the oldest Gompa functioning Buddist Monastery in India and also preserved the glorious traditions, culture and heritage of Buddhism through centuries. This monastery has the priceless collections of scroll paintings , manuscripts and paintings.Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 7 – Tabo–Kibber
A drive to Kibber in the morning after breakfast.This situated at a distance of 16km from Kaza and at a height of 4,205m above the sea level.This is the heights village in the world. One of the most important Buddhist centre is Ki Monastery. You can find famous paintings, rare manuscripts, wind instruments and thanks at the Ki Monastery. You can visit the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary near the village. You can see animals such as blue sheep, Tibetan woolly hare, lynx, Tibetan wild ass,lbex, red fox, snow leopard and pika. This village is very popular for adventure lovers. Mountaineering and trekking are the adventure activities.Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 08- Kibber
Early in the morning after breakfast, you can start for the adventure activities such as mountaineering and trekking.TheDangmachan Peak is very popular for the adventure activities. One of the most thrilling experience would be trekking to Dangmachan Peak. This Peak is located at height of 5157m above the sea level.Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 09 -Kibber–Pangrochen
Next day morning, the trekking route takes you to the Pangrochen. The trek is rising skywards all the way and through a bit exhausting way, but the great scenery all around gives you a great experience. The camp at Pangrochen with stage fresh water spring that maintains the rare wildlife at this altitude.
Day 10- Pangrochen – Parang La
After the breakfast, you can proceed to trek over 5577m at Parang La. Take the steep downward hills to the camp near waterfalls and huge rock. The steep gently smooth out as you reach the camp at Largyup.
Day 11- Parang La –TarangYogma
In the morning walk down the valley of the Pare Chu and cross the river. Overnight stay in the camp.
Day 12- TarangYogma – NorbuSumdo
In the morning after breakfast, cross the river and finally arrive at the large oasis of NorbuSumda.Overnight stay in the desert camp.
Day 13 – NorbuSumdo–Kiangdam
Next day morning, trek to Kiangdam. Which is on the southern shore of TSOMoriri. It is known as the Mountain Lake.It is a vast fern land on the south shore of the lake.You can spot Tibetan Wild Ass or Ibex and even some bird species like Brahminy duck and other water fowls. Overnight camp at Kiangdam.
Day 14 –Kiangdam
Rest for the day in the unimaginable scene of Kiangdam.
Day 15 – Kiangdam–Korzok
Next day trek along the shores to reach the tiny village of Korzok with a small Gompa and Camp are on the northern shore.
Day 16 -Korzok–Gyama
Trek many large nomadic camps over Gyamshrama Lt to reach the Gyama.This is a relatively a low mountain pass .Overnight stay at camp.
Day 17 – Gyama – RajungKaru
You need to cross the Kyamamuri La to reach the RajungKaru. This is another the small camp.
Day 18 – RajungKaru–Nuruchan
To reach Nuruchan you need to trek over the low HarlamKonkamountain. On the way you can also spot Wild ass and Tibet plateau. This is a solitary small village.
Day 19- Nuruchan – TsoKar
Next day in the morning after breakfast, start your journey to the TsoKar Lake. By crossing the hills and hillsides reach the famous TsoKar Lake. The small hills appearance is of crystallized salt on its shores.
Day 20 – TsoKar – Leh
Early in the morning a drive to Leh via Tanglang La, which is 5328 m above the sea level.On arriving at Leh check-in at the hotel. Rest for a while. You can explore to near by famous Monasteries. Attend the praying ceremony at Thiksey Monastery and a drive to Hemis Monastery. Also other famous monastery in the Ladakh region.Overngiht stay in the hotel.
Day 21 - Leh
Early in the morning after breakfast visit to Thiksey Gompa. This is located on the hilltop of the north of Indus river. This monastery was built in 1430 AD. You can see the gold plated statue of Lord Buddha, known as Maitrey Buddha. You can also visit the Indus Valley Monastery. You can view from the roof of this monastery the Indus Valley and monasteries of Stanka, Matho and Shey. Back to the Leh city and after lunch proceed to the beautiful palace that is Stok Palace. This constructed by the former ruler of Ladakh. Lot of trekkers enjoy trekking at the several high altitude. You can find the museum within the palace, which exhibits the monuments of the royal family and their used weapons, history and currency. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 22- Leh
Next day, you can visit Shey Palace,which is 15 km from the town of Leh. This palace was the summer retreat house of the King of Ladakh. This palacewas built in 1665. This city was the capital of the ancient Ladakh. The Shey monastery has the largest golden Buddha statue.The Shey palace is up high on a hill. You can see the HemisGompa. Hemis monastery is approximately 50 km from Leh and it is on the west bank of Indus river near Karu. This monastery is the largest and wealthiest monastery in Leh. The Hemis festival is a grand celebration, the sacred mask dance is performed during this festival is the major attraction to the tourists. Back to the hotel and rest for the day. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 23- Leh to Khardung La Pass
The day is scheduled for one of the most memorable drives of your life, a drive to the world’s highest motorable road that is Khardung La. In the morning after breakfast, get ready for the bike ride from the Leh to Khardung La Pass. You can view the beauty of the valley and roads twisting up the mountain.The Khardung La Pass is a famous tourist attraction because of its breathtaking views, natural air and being on the top of the world. Back to hotel for lunch and rest for a while. You can get explore to the prime attraction of Leh such as Shanti Stupa, NamgyalTsemo Monastery, Leh Palace and Tibetan Market. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 24- Depature from Leh
After breakfast get transferred to Leh airport to board the flight for onward destination.
