Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Guwahati
On arrival at Guwahati airport, our representative will arrange for your transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Relax for a while and visit the major tourist attractions of Guwahati like Basistha Ashram, Assam State Museum, Bhubaneswari Temple, Guwahati Planetarium and Kamakhya Temple. Enjoy dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 2: Guwahati – Kaziranga
After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park and check in to our pre-booked wildlife resort. Rest for a while and then explore the nearby Tea estates and explore the culture of local people. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 3: Kaziranga
Early morning before breakfast explore the rich flora and fauna of Kaziranga Natioanl Park via jeep safari. Return to hotel for breakfast 7 relax. After lunch proceed to explore the remaining part of Kaziranga national park via Jeep Safari. In the evening, enjoy tribal dance performance by the locals. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 4: Kaziranga – Shillong
After breakfast, drive to Shillong. Shillong is named as ‘Scotland of the East’ due to its natural beauty. Upon arrival checkin into the pre booked hotel. Evening free to relax. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 5: Shillong
After breakfast proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Shillong. Visit Hyadri Park, Elephanta falls, Shillong Peak & Ward Lake. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 6: Shillong – Cherapunjee – Shillong
Today after breakfast proceeds for a full day excursion of Cherapunjee which is the heaviest rainfall destination in the world. Cherapunjee is located at a distance of 60 kms from Shillong. On the way visit Spectacular Seven Sisters Falls, the Mawsmai Cave and the Thangkharang Park. Evening return to Shillong for Overnight stay.
Day 7: Shillong – Guwahati - Kolkata
Today morning after breakfast drive to Guwahati airport and board a flight towards Kolkata. Upon arrival at Kolkata airport, our representative will arrange your transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Relax for rest of the day. Overnights stay in Kolkata
Day 8: Kolkata
Today morning after breakfast proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Kolkata. Visit Victoria Marble Palace, Science City, Metro Rail, Memorial Hall, Belur Math, Mother Teresa Home, China Town and Rabindra Setu. Later in the evening witness the prayer ceremony at the famous Kali Temple. Overnight stay in Kolkata.
Day 9: Kolkata - Bhubaneshwar
Today morning after breakfast transfer to Kolkata airport to board the flight towards Bhubaneshwar. Upon arrival at Bhubaneshwar airport our representative will welcome you and accompany you till the hotel. After check-in the hotel rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay in Bhubaneshwar.
Day 10: Bhubaneswar
The day is fixed for the sightseeing of Bhubaneshwar. Bhubaneshwar, the capital of Orissa is popularly known as the “Temples City of India”. Visit the most famous temples like the DhauliGiri Shanti Stupa, also known as Peace Pagoda. This is situated on the opposite hill of DhauliGiri. Lingaraj Temple is one of the biggest and oldest of all temples in the city. This temple of the Hindu god Shiva. The Mahavira Jain Temple near Khandagiri is in pink transparence.The inspiring feeling of wonder at their abrupt beauty and their cross- cultural modifications. You can visit the Khandagiri and Udayagiri twin hills. The tribal Research Insitute Museum looks like the genuine tribal home, it was created by the tribal craftsmen. You can enjoy the beauty of the village in this museum. Return to hotel and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 11: Bhubaneswar – Konark - Puri
Morning drive to Puri and en route visit to the famous Sun Temple of Konark. This temple is dedicated to Sun God. This is the world heritage site. This temple was built in the 13th century. The finishing touches of the twelve pairs of stone wheels are wonderful. Later proceed towards Puri. Overnight stay in puri.
Day 12: Puri
Today morning after breakfast visit to the Jagannath temple, which is dedicated to Lord Jagannath. This temple was constructed in 12th century A.D by Raja Ananta Varman Chodaganag Dev. You can see the wooden images of Subhadra and Jagannath Balabhadra were set up in the temple. Also visit the Loknath Temple. Later spend your day at the beautiful beach in Puri. This beach is the attraction place for tourist and it is located on the shore of beautiful the Bay of Bengal. At this beach you get an opportunity to observe the beautiful sunrise and sunset. You can walk on the sand at the beach and enjoy various water sports. Overnight stay in Puri.
Day 13: Puri – Bhubaneshwar departure
Today after breakfast you can start your journey through road to Bhubaneshwar. Upon arrival transfer to Bhubaneswar airport/ railway station to your onward destination.
